Chicken breast in sweet and sour sauce with rice and vegetable

Ingredients

  • Chinese vegetable mix Hortex 225 g
  • Canned tomatoes (pelati) 200 g
  • Chicken breast 100 g
  • Pineapple nectar Hortex 100 ml
  • Natural rice 35 g
  • 8% vinegar 1 teaspoon
  • Powdered ginger 1 teaspoon
  • Powdered garlic 1 teaspoon
  • Xylitol 1 teaspoon

Preparation

Step 1

Cook the rice in lightly salted water according to the instructions on the package. Cut the chicken into strips and marinate in ginger and garlic.

Step 2

Then bake it for about 15 minutes (depending on the thickness of the sliced meat) in an oven preheated to 180°C. In the meantime, put the tomatoes in a pot and simmer until the liquid is reduced.

Step 3

Finally, prepare the sweet and sour sauce. Pour the pineapple juice into a saucepan, add the stewed tomatoes and bring to a boil.

Step 4

Add a teaspoon of xylitol, vinegar, vegetables and cook until soft. 

Arrange the cooked chicken on top of the rice and pour the vegetable sauce over it.
