Chicken breast in sweet and sour sauce with rice and vegetable
Ingredients
- Chinese vegetable mix Hortex 225 g
- Canned tomatoes (pelati) 200 g
- Chicken breast 100 g
- Pineapple nectar Hortex 100 ml
- Natural rice 35 g
- 8% vinegar 1 teaspoon
- Powdered ginger 1 teaspoon
- Powdered garlic 1 teaspoon
- Xylitol 1 teaspoon
Preparation
Cook the rice in lightly salted water according to the instructions on the package. Cut the chicken into strips and marinate in ginger and garlic.
Then bake it for about 15 minutes (depending on the thickness of the sliced meat) in an oven preheated to 180°C. In the meantime, put the tomatoes in a pot and simmer until the liquid is reduced.
Finally, prepare the sweet and sour sauce. Pour the pineapple juice into a saucepan, add the stewed tomatoes and bring to a boil.
Add a teaspoon of xylitol, vinegar, vegetables and cook until soft.
Arrange the cooked chicken on top of the rice and pour the vegetable sauce over it.
