Chicken and vegetable spring rolls

  • Chinese vegetable mix Hortex 1 package
  • Chicken fillet 1 fillet
  • Chinese seasoning 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce 1 tablespoon
  • Sweet chilli sauce 1 tablespoon
  • Oil 1 tablespoon
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Spring onion
  • Salt, pepper

Did you know that...?

These are my first spring rolls (not counting the fresh vegetable ones) and although they don’t look perfect, they make up for it in taste. I used a ready-made Hortex vegetable mix for their preparation, and added only fried chicken, sesame and sweet chili sauce. Thanks to ready-made frozen vegetable mixes, you can quickly prepare a tasty and nutritious meal. And the spring rolls came out delicious!

Step 1

Cut the chicken fillet into small cubes and season with salt and pepper. Fry in 2 tablespoons of oil, add the vegetables, soy sauce and Chinese seasoning. Cook for about 10 minutes until the vegetables soften. Let it cool, then add chopped spring onions, sesame seeds and sweet chili sauce. 

Step 2

Soak the rice paper in warm water for a moment, then lay it on a board and put a large spoonful of filling on it. Roll it up like a croquette and fry it in hot oil until golden brown. Serve sprinkled with spring onions and sesame seeds. They taste great with sweet chili sauce.
