Chinese-style vegetables with wild rice and nuts

  • Chinese vegetable mix Hortex 1 package
  • Wild rice 100 g
  • Hazelnuts 50 g
  • Rice or wine vinegar 25 ml
  • Butter 3 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce 2 tablespoons
  • Sugar 1 tablespoon
  • Nutmeg 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon 1 pinch
  • Oil 3-4 tablespoons
  • Pepper


Step 1

Cook the wild rice according to the instructions on the package, drain and let it cool. 

Step 2

In a large pan or wok, heat 3-4 tablespoons of oil and add the Chinese vegetable mix. Stir-fry on high heat for about 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Add the spices, soy sauce, sugar and vinegar. Mix everything together and continue to cook for a few more minutes. 

Step 3

In another pan, melt the butter, add the chopped nuts and fry for a few minutes over low heat. Add the rice, vegetables and stir-fry everything together for a few minutes, allowing the flavours to mix.
