White fish soup with spinach

35 minutes
4 portions

  • Hortex Spinach Leaves 200 g
  • Hortex Vegetable Strips 1 opakowanie
  • White fish fillets (such as cod or catfish) approx. 1 kg
  • 18% sour cream 200 g
  • Butter 50 g
  • Onion 2
  • Garlic 1 clove
  • Salt, pepper

Step 1

Fillet the fish, remove the skin and any remaining bones from the fillets. Cut the cleaned fillets into small cubes (about 2 cm), season with salt and pepper and refrigerate. Put the cleaned fish head, without eyes and gills, into a pot, add 2 litres of water and cook for about 30 minutes. Then, add the vegetable strips to the strained broth and cook for about 15 minutes over low heat

Step 2

Dice the onion, sauté it in butter with chopped garlic, and add it to the soup. Mix the sour cream with the hot broth in a 1:1 ratio (to prevent the sour cream from curdling) and pour it into the simmering soup.

Step 3

After a while, add the cubed fish fillets, thawed spinach leaves and cook for another 5 minutes. Serve the finished soup in bowls.
