White fish soup with spinach
Ingredients
- Hortex Spinach Leaves 200 g
- Hortex Vegetable Strips 1 opakowanie
- White fish fillets (such as cod or catfish) approx. 1 kg
- 18% sour cream 200 g
- Butter 50 g
- Onion 2
- Garlic 1 clove
- Salt, pepper
Preparation
Fillet the fish, remove the skin and any remaining bones from the fillets. Cut the cleaned fillets into small cubes (about 2 cm), season with salt and pepper and refrigerate. Put the cleaned fish head, without eyes and gills, into a pot, add 2 litres of water and cook for about 30 minutes. Then, add the vegetable strips to the strained broth and cook for about 15 minutes over low heat.
Dice the onion, sauté it in butter with chopped garlic, and add it to the soup. Mix the sour cream with the hot broth in a 1:1 ratio (to prevent the sour cream from curdling) and pour it into the simmering soup.
After a while, add the cubed fish fillets, thawed spinach leaves and cook for another 5 minutes. Serve the finished soup in bowls.
