Ukrainian borscht with smoked meat
Ingredients
- Hortex Ukrainian borscht mix 1 package
- Smoked bones 300 g
- Smoked bacon 100 g
- Dried porcini mushrooms 10 g
- Carrot 1
- Small celery 1
- Onion 1
- A piece of leek
- Cloves 2
- Bay leaf 1
- Salt and pepper
Preparation
Place the smoked bones in a large pot, add peeled vegetables, bay leaf, and allspice, pour 2 liters of water and simmer on low heat for about 2 hours.
Then soak the dried mushrooms.
Strain the finished meat broth into another pot, then add the soaked mushrooms and Ukrainian borscht.
Simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes. At the end of cooking, add diced and fried bacon.
