Baked dish with minced meat

Ingredients

  • Vegetable skillet mix with spinach by Hortex 2 packages
  • Minced pork (pork neck, ham, shoulder) 500 g
  • Grated yellow cheese 50 g
  • Onion 1
  • Garlic 3 cloves
  • Oil 6 tablespoons
  • Milk 400 ml
  • Yellow cheese 100 g
  • Butter 1 tablespoon
  • Wheat flour 1 tablespoon
  • Freshly ground nutmeg a pinch
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Salt

Preparation

Step 1

Transfer the vegetable skillet mix onto a plate and let it thaw. Peel and finely chop the onion and slice the garlic thinly. Heat oil in a pan, add the onion and garlic, lightly season with salt, and fry while stirring frequently until the onion becomes translucent. Add the minced pork, season with salt and pepper, mix well and fry for about 10 minutes. Remove from heat. 

Step 2

In a large pot, melt the butter, add the flour, and stir vigorously for half a minute. Remove from heat and slowly pour in the milk while stirring continuously. Place the pot back on heat, bring to a boil while stirring constantly, and simmer for a moment. Remove from heat, season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Add grated cheese to the sauce and mix well. Heat oil in a large pan, add the thawed vegetable mix and fry while stirring occasionally until the spinach balls completely thaw. 

Step 3

Grease an ovenproof dish with oil. Place half of the vegetable mix in the dish, season with the spice from one packet and add the minced meat on top. Cover with the remaining vegetable mix, season with the spice from the second packet, and pour in the sauce. Bake in the oven preheated to 180ºC for about 50 minutes. Sprinkle with grated yellow cheese 10 minutes before the end of baking.
