Quick vegetable broth
Ingredients
- Hortex Strips of Vegetables for Broth 2 packages
- Peppercorns 10
- Cloves 5
- Bay leaf 1
- Fresh parsley or lovage a few sprigs
- Salt
Preparation
Cover the Hortex strips of vegetables for broth, bay leaf, a few cloves, and peppercorns with cold water (approx. 1.5 litres) and boil over medium heat for 30 minutes.
Then, add a few sprigs of fresh parsley or lovage, season with salt to taste and continue cooking for a little while.
Serve as a standalone dish with your favourite additions (pasta, croutons or dumplings) or use as a base for any vegetable soups.
