Mini carrots with an orange twist

  • Mini carrots from Hortex 1 package
  • 100% orange juice from Hortex 100 ml
  • Sugar 1 teaspoon
  • Orange zest 1 tablespoon
  • Butter 2 tablespoons
  • Salt, freshly ground black pepper


Step 1

Boil the mini carrots in salted water for 5 minutes and drain. Heat the butter in a pan, add sugar and finely chopped orange zest. After 2 minutes, add the carrots and pour in the orange juice. 

Step 2

Simmer for 5-10 minutes over low heat until excess liquid evaporates. 

Step 3

Sprinkle with pepper. Serve warm.
