Borscht Ukrainian
Ingredients
- Hortex Ukrainian Borscht 1 package
- Potatoes 3
- Vinegar 1 tablespoon
- Sour cream 1 tablespoon
- Bouillon cube 1 cube
- Clove 2
- Peppercorns 3 grains
- Bay leaf 1 leaf
- Salt
Preparation
Pour the contents of the package into a pot and add about 1 litre of water, a bouillon cube, cloves, bay leaf, and peppercorns. Add 1 tablespoon of vinegar and diced potatoes. Cook for about 20 minutes.
Season with salt to taste towards the end of cooking. The borscht can be served with a dollop of thick sour cream as a garnish.
